Survivor Researcher Network – Recruiting for Advisory Group at London School of Economics

Survivor Researcher Network C.I.C. (SRN) is recruiting and supporting an advisory group for a London School of Economics (LSE) Care Policy and Evaluation Centre research project. They are looking at the role of local area support and amenities in reducing inequalities in unmet need for care and improving access to social care support.

They are looking for up to eight people who are:

  • Aged 65 or over and have care needs, or
  • Have personal experience of caring for someone aged 65 or over with care needs. (carers can be under 65 themselves as long as they are caring for someone aged 65 or older).

Expected commitment from participants:

  • There will be five advisory group meetings starting in June. These will be online using Zoom.

Closing date to apply: end of Monday 19th May 2025.

SRN will support people, who are interested, in the application process and during the project. SRN will identify what is needed to make the group accessible for individual advisors and discuss with LSE how those needs can be met. No travelling is involved as the meetings are online using Zoom.
