On the 16th of March 2016, Shaping Our Lives organised and hosted an regional workshop with staff of the Care Quality Commission and people with learning difficulties. The attendees talked through their issues with the Commission and the work that they do, raising issues like the lack of accessible information, difficulties in making complaints and difficulties in accessing primary care.
