On the 8th of June 2016, NSUN held their 2016 AGM. The event also served as the launch for Shaping Our Lives’ report, ‘From Mental Illness Towards a Social Model of Madness and Distress’. This report includes a full summary of the report as given by Shaping Our Lives Chair Peter Beresford, and a summary of the panel discussion that followed between Peter, veteran survivor activist Mary Nettle, sociologist Brigit McWade, survivor researcher and journalist Alison Faulkner, NSUN Co-Chair Dominic Makuvachuma and NSUN Managing Director Sarah Yiannullou, who chaired the panel discussion.
