We are a grassroots charity who believe in making rights accessible. To promote this, we have developed the first human rights-based advocacy award which is accredited at level 7 by SCQF. This qualification is SQA approved. The course expands individual's knowledge and understanding of human rights and advocacy, promoting the fulfillment and protection of human rights in our society. We offer education and training in human rights based advocacy. As the training focuses on human rights, it is relevant for everyone and covers all protected characteristic groups. At REACH, we believe that communities know best, therefore upon individuals completing training, we encourage communities to apply for funding to establish a human rights-based advocacy service in their locality. In doing so, REACH want to ensure sustainability is at the heart of this educational model.
