The Greater Manchester Mental Health Action Group is a network of service-users, carers and their allies who are pressing for a greater influence of service-users in decisions affecting their own individual care plan as well as strategic decisions on mental health, housing and education. It has developed a 10 point Mental Health Charter following full service-user participation to uphold the rights of service-users in all areas of mental health services in Manchester.
