Carmarthenshire People First is an advocacy and training agency that is run by and for adults with a learning disability, learning difficulty and/or who are neuro divergent. We have an office in Carmarthen and our services cover the county of Carmarthenshire. We have a professional advocacy department where our team of independent advocates support people to ensure they have the right information, in a way that people understand, so that they are central to the decision making processes in their lives. Voice, Choice and Control is our motto. We also run a number of self-advocacy groups and facilitate a blend of both online and in person group activities. We have an award winning training team. All of our trainers are Members of CPF and are “experts by experience”. We sell our training and it is another source of income for the business.
