Breaking Out of the Bubble, formerly People First Lambeth is a Disabled People’s Organisation that offers self-advocacy groups to adults with learning disabilities. As well as a regular group that meets every Tuesday we also provide training to statutory and voluntary groups on issues that effect people with learning disabilities and take part in projects with a range of Educational, Health and Social Care providers. Despite having 100% of our funding taken away by Lambeth Council in 2010 we continue to provide support to adults with learning disabilities to speak out on issues that affect them.
