To provide support, advice and information to ensure that disabled people and people with long-term health conditions are able to fully contribute to the workforce. Our work advice service uses a practical, common sense approach with experienced disabled advisors to overcome difficulties in employment or self employment. We focus on providing support, advice and information to ensure that disabled people and people with long-term health conditions are able to fully contribute to the workforce. As our aim is to support everyone with any form of health condition or impairment to find, retain and progress in the full range of work opportunities, we would be happy to talk to you whether you are: • an employer, • a representative of an organisation, or • an individual. With many years experience, providing a national advice service for both the Association of Disabled Professionals (ADP) and the Disabled Entrepreneurs’ Network, we are widely practiced in providing an appropriate, professional service that is individually tailored to your needs. We are able to advise on issues relating to employment and self employment, using our work with statutory, voluntary and private sector organisations, as well as individuals with long term health conditions and disabled people. This enables us to provide complete and comprehensive solutions to remove the barriers to participation. In terms of employment, we provide support to individuals and employers on issues including seeking employment; recruitment and application procedures; retention of existing staff who develop impairments; support with making appropriate reasonable adjustments; support with Access to Work and how to become more “Disability Confident”, to name but a few. With regard to self employment, we provide business support that is tailored to the needs of disabled people and people with long-term health conditions. We also provide expert advice and information to business support organisations. If you are looking for relevant advice and support to address disability or health related issues in any work situation, then please do not hesitate to contact us.
