The Haven is a community supporting the recovery of people with the diagnosis of Personality Disorder. Clients are engaged in all aspects of the project from recruitment to service design. This is part of their recovery pathway. It is key because people with Personality Disorder have typically been deprived of any control over their life especially where - as is most often the case - childhood and growing up has been marred by abuse and neglect. The Haven provides recovery groups, therapeutic 1:1 support and crisis prevention telephone calls and outreach.
