Voices and Choices provide information, advice and advocacy to help people to find the practical services they need to stay safe and secure at home. We provide information and advice to older people, people with disabilities or long term physical or mental health conditions (such as dementia). We help people to remain in their homes with the help and support of community services and other agencies. We can also provide advocacy if you have concerns about services you receive or provide reassurance to family carers living outside Buckinghamshire. We recruit, train and support volunteers to visit people in their own homes to help them find the services that matter to them. Our volunteers are trained to Level 3 with the Open College Network. They will help people find anything from a decorator or dog-walker through to applying for LPAs or continuing healthcare, and support them talking to professionals or family members making decisions about their lives.
