Age UK County Durham is an independent local charity. We've been working in the local community to help older people for over 40 years. We have 22 dedicated staff and over 100 volunteers helping us to deliver services and activities for older people in County Durham. We give free information and advice to older people and their families; help older people avoid scams through our Beat the Scammers project; bring young and old together through our Integenerational Programme; and provide a wide range of activities, groups and events throughout the County.
